Where do I source my wood?

Bradfield Woods: The Suffolk Wildlife Trust manages 70 hectares of stunning woodland. This unique wood has been under continuous, traditional coppice management since at least 1252.

Arger Fen & Spouse's Vale: This is another site managed by Suffolk Wildlife Trust. It covers 110 hectares and is located just outside the village of Bures.

Nowton Park: Located just south of Bury St Edmund, this 90-hectare park is managed by West Suffolk Council.

Bedford Park: Bedfords Park, is a historic parkland site of 215 acres, owned and managed by the London Borough of Havering. The nature reserve affords fantastic views over London and into Kent.

Tip Site: A tip site is a location where Tree surgeons can offload any wood they have no use for. These are found throughout the country and will be marked with a location.

Other sources: I am often gifted wood from people’s gardens, farms and estates.
