This is a lovely handmade cooking spoon, ready for some hard cooking action.

It is made of Chestnut from Bures on the Essex/Suffolk border.

It’s dimensions are: 365mm ( 14 3/8 inches) long and a bowl width of 37mm (1 3/8 inches).

The shaft is painted with Barn Red milkpaint and the spoon has been finished with a coating of cold-pressed hemp oil.

To look after your spoon, just wash in warm soapy water after use (NOT in a dishwasher), and dry.
