A butter spreader made from locally sourced birch with a coloured handle (mullberry) painted with milk-paint and finished with a coating of bees wax.
Wood has been used for centuries to make a variety of kitchen utensils. Looked after they will last for years and years.
To look after your item, just wash it in warm, soapy water after use (NOT in a dishwasher), and dry it.
